Cathrine

Cathrine is a therapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. Her primary goal in therapy is to promote the well-being of her clients, and develop an individualized treatment plan according to the needs and circumstances of each client using an integrative approach.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in General Health Psychology from the European University of Madrid. With a Spanish mother and a Norwegian father, Cathrine grew up in a bilingual and multicultural environment, which has contributed to her international perspective. Her diverse background and experience allow her to relate to the challenges people face when moving to another country, as well as adapting to a new culture. She believes in people's ability to overcome challenges and grow as individuals, and views therapy as an opportunity to achieve this.

In her professional career, she has performed therapy at various private clinics and worked with different clients who have had various psychological issues, such as anxiety, low mood, problems related to sexuality, relationships, and body image.

For Cathrine, the most important aspects within the therapeutic context are closeness, empathy, and adapting to the needs of each client. She speaks fluently Norwegian, English, and Spanish, and offers therapy in these languages. She provides both online and in-person sessions, depending on the client's preference.
