Rachel is a licensed psychologist with experience in individual therapy, working from a cognitive-behavioral and contextual approach. She offers therapy in Spanish and English and adapts her support to each client’s unique needs, whether online or in person.
She studied at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and completed part of her degree at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Later, she earned her Master's Degree in General Health Psychology at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), with internships at the Applied Psychology Center (CPA) and the Lajman Day Hospital.
Rachel currently volunteers with Psychologists Without Borders, a role that allows her to actively commit to the community. She provides psychological support to people in vulnerable situations and participates in intervention projects for at-risk populations, promoting equal access to mental health care. This work has deepened the importance of compassionate and non-judgmental listening.
Her personal and professional path has always been linked to cultural diversity and personal development. She lived in the United States, where she worked as a Spanish teacher at Wesleyan University and volunteered at the behavioral unit of Middlesex Hospital. Her clinical journey began at Fundación Neurón, where she worked from a systemic perspective, and she has continued to expand her training in areas such as sexuality, child development, gender diversity, ADHD, mindfulness, and gender equity.
She views psychotherapy as a safe, transparent, and non-judgmental space where clients can freely express themselves. Her goal is to support each person with authenticity, encouraging genuine self-understanding, confidence, and personal transformation.
